Anyone who is lucky enough to meet Rudy instantly is drawn to his friendly face, fuzzy ears, and happy demeanor. He's a classic large puppy who wants nothing more than to play tug of war with you or go on a nice walk where hopefully he gets to meet many new people.

A typical day in the life of Rudy (or Rudence, if you prefer a more noble nickname) starts around 6 am on weekdays before I leave for the gym. He gets his breakfast and a quick trip outside with my resident dog. He's crated for a bit longer while I'm at the gym which is no problem for him. He does great in his crate overnight, even during extremely loud storms! We do some backyard playtime or a walk in the morning as well. Rudy has all of the puppy energy so it's important for him to run some of that off right away. He will also tire himself out playing tug of war or fetching toys indoors. Any toy is his favorite toy, but I expect rope toys will bring him the most joy.

Rudy is learning the ropes of working from home. He naps quite a bit on the pillow in my office while I'm working but is always on the lookout for walk or play opportunities. He's getting better at listening to my resident dog telling him he doesn't want to play. Rudy wants to be every dog's best friend and I can see him loving doggy daycare in the future. He also loves meeting people - everyone we meet on walks can't resist giving him some ear scratches.

Rudy is quite the hydration enthusiast and does better at eating the water than drinking it. He is an excellent judge at knowing when he needs to go outside and potty - he will bark when this is necessary.

He eats dinner enthusiastically around 5pm, usually followed by another backyard session or walk. He will attempt to play with my resident dog some more after dinner and by 9 pm he's content with being crated for the night.

Rudy can't wait to meet you and find his forever home!
