Updates
Ruckus sleeps in his kennel without a peep all night long. He wakes up when we get up and goes outside to go potty. We take him on about a 20 minute walk most mornings. He comes back and has his breakfast then has some playtime with our 8 year old lab and is let out a few more times before going into his kennel while I work from home. He is quiet in his kennel. He is let out at lunch and then in the kennel for the afternoon. In the evenings he has more time outside and sometimes we go on another walk. He is usually pretty sleepy in the evenings.
Ruckus has done well with everyone he has met. He went to an event this weekend and met lots of people of various ages and did well with everyone.
Ruckus has regular contact with older children and does well with them. He has met several younger children while he is on a leash and he is gentle with them. He is interested in going to say hi to kids when we are on a walk and he can hear them playing at the park.
Ruckus has medium energy especially for a puppy. We take him for at least one 20 minute walk a day. He also enjoys playing with our 8 year old lab. He also loves to snuggle on the dog bed and sleep. He has been doing well on the leash. He sometimes gets stubborn and doesn't want to walk but with encouragement he will continue to walk.
Ruckus has had regular contact with a yellow lab and golden retriever. He was a little overwhelmed meeting the energetic golden retriever but quickly warmed up. He met lots of dogs at an event this weekend and was great with all of the different dogs.
Ruckus has not exposure to cats in our home.
Ruckus is always kenneled when we are not home. He does try to get shoes or other items at times so should not be left alone. He is easliy redirected to chew on a bone when he gets something he should not have.
Ruckus is a wonderful puppy! He is learning sit and come and is very food motivated. He loves to be by his humans and loves to be pet. He is a typical goofy puppy that will be a great addition to a family.
