Ruby is a 7 year old, purebred German Shepherd spayed female. She was purchased from a rural breeder that is out of business. The owners have had Ruby since she was a puppy. Ruby is current on all her shots and vet visits. By request, her vet records can be forwarded to potential adopting families.
Ruby is gentle and has never been aggressive. She rarely barks at anything, not even strangers. As the pictures show, Ruby is cat friendly. Ruby loves children and was raised with our grandkids and neighbor kids.
We recently found out her 69 year old owner is severely allergic to dogs. The doctor says the dog has to go, allergy meds are not an option because of other meds. We hope to rehome Ruby soon, especially before the holidays and winter. We think Ruby is very adoptable, she is leash trained, loves all people, does not bark, dog and cat friendly, and also likes camping. When she could be in our house she slept by our bed every night. She does not need a lot of exercises and loves to nap in the sun. Ruby loves to be brushed. Ruby is sweet, sweet dog that deserves a family.
