We wake up and go outside right away to potty, and then go for a 2-3 mile run with my resident dog. After the run, it's playtime with my resident dog and then in the kennel while I am at work. Royale very playful and loves other dogs. At night, we go up to the bed and she's the best nighttime snuggler ever. She sleeps through the night cuddled up next to me under my chin or my arm. If you wake up during the night and leave the room, be sure to take her out too. That's one of the few times she had an accident in the house. She loves chewing on pig ears and rawhide. They keep her quite occupied and occasionally other toys. She is incredibly smart and curious, and very sweet.
She's very friendly and wants to meet everyone. Outside on walks, she does tend to pull when people are around because she wants to meet them so badly. She's been doing better every day about distractions on walks and runs and is learning how to focus.
She hasn't actually been around any children, but I imagine she might try to lick and cuddle them.
Royale’s probably medium energy but loves a long walk or run. She didn't understand how a leash or walk worked when I got her, so we have been working on not pulling as much and staying on course keeping pace. Her biggest weakness is chasing moths as we run on the path. I think she would do well in an apartment and with less exercise but may become more mischievous if she doesn't get a moderate amount of exercise. We walk/run 1-3.5 miles a day.
She's very playful and loves all the dogs she's met at the park and my resident dog.
Once she gets to sniff them and they become calmer, Royale generally ignores them. If the cats are scared and run, she will chase them but doesn't actually do anything or play with them even. Royale just wants to smell them.
She can only be left alone for short periods of time out of the crate right now. As she gets older, she will learn what is okay and not appropriate. She takes corrections very well and is very food-driven for training so it will be easy to get her familiar with your rules of the house. But at first, she will need stronger supervision.
Other than a couple of accidents in the house and not being able to find our shoes, she's been an awesome foster dog.
