What a dream this Queen is! Queen Mai (or just Mai) is such a well-behaved, pleasant dog. She came up from Louisiana as a last-minute euthanasia pull, and we are so glad she is going to have the opportunity to be someone's favorite buddy. Mai already knows "sit," shake," "off," and "down." She plays nicely with dogs, bringing toys to her pack friends to join-in on her fun. She ignores the cats and bunny. Mai is very treat-motivated, but quickly adopted the free-feeding, multi-dog lifestyle; eating only when and what she needed with no resource guarding. While she enjoys running around the yard, she would be fine with regular walks or runs. She has yet to bark and could fit right into the apartment lifestyle. After a good poo, she will show off her Collie-agility and perform a 4-legged high jump! Mai loves running up the dog ramp when called and is very comfortable using the dog door. While she loves to play, she also spends most of the day laying in her bed next to her work-from-home human. After evening snuggles, she takes her treat and calls it a night. She sleeps nicely in her crate all night...and did I mention she is house-trained? Pictures do not do her cuteness justice; she really is an adorable sweetheart who deserves a great human.
