Petey’s story began with heartbreak — but this brave boy has turned it into one of hope. He was abandoned on a church property with his momma, Darla, and three siblings. Sadly, only Petey survived after cruel people harmed his littermates. Thanks to the kindness of church members who fed and protected them, Petey and his mom are now safe and ready to find the loving homes they deserve.
He’s crate trained, walks well on a leash, and gets along great with other dogs. Curious and playful, he’s also gentle and mindful — always aware of his size and energy.
At his temporary home, Petey even shares space with barn cats and monkeys — and he’s friendly with everyone! His soulful eyes and tender heart say it all: this boy has come so far and is ready to give his whole heart to the family who gives him a forever home. 💙
