Parmesan is a quiet, gentle, loving puppy looking for a home to let her personality glow. Outside time is her favorite and she loves to sniff everything and explore. As she becomes more confident with a family, walks will quickly become easy and fun. She is a happy puppy who is learning to play and get that puppy energy out. She also loves a good nap and will take them independently but if you want to cuddle she will gladly snuggle in. She enjoys being included, even if that just means being in the same room as you. Her face lights up when you give her attention and rewards you with a huge smile.
She is still a bit timid but is so curious. She will bond with you and look to you for reassurance. Parmesan has displayed zero aggressive traits with food or interactions, she knows her limits and will return to her crate/bed when she feels overwhelmed but will almost instantly come out to try again with her tail wagging. She is food motivated which will make training easier.
Within our home Parmesan is learning a lot and quickly!
- befriending the household cat, though she has not met other dogs yet
- teething and happily uses chew toys
- house training is going well and she is learning fast
- she loves belly rubs, bully sticks, cat toys, and pompoms.
Parmesan will be adopted out with an addendum to her contract to be spayed at an appropriate age.
