Updates
Olive is a sweet, affectionate dog! She is shy at first encounter but warms up to people quickly. She is a medium-energy dog but an active girl when it comes to playing with her tug-a-war rope, and going for walks and jogs! Currently, she is walked three times a day with the shortest walk being 10 minutes. She is well-behaved, rarely barks, and will wait for the green light to enter the house after a walk. She is similar when it comes to food; Olive will wait until you say 'go' before chowing down and is not possessive. Olive is crate trained and great in cars, always eager to hop in the backseat anytime the door is opened for her. When I (current foster owner) picked her up from her previous owner, she rode calmly with a stranger for 2 hours in the backseat! She spends most of the day sleeping and can be left at home for the workday without worry.
Olive has some anxiety. She will get startled by loud noises, honking cars, or quickly closed doors. When on walks, Olive will ignore other dogs, squirrels, and people. She is also shy with dogs but gets along well when introduced to them with treats in a neutral setting.
Due to her size, strength, and playfulness, she is not recommended around small children. Unknown how she behaves with cats.
