Meet Missy Hashbrown! Missy Hash is a senior lab x retriever mix looking for a warm and loving home to live out the rest of her golden years. She is super friendly, cuddly and has a generally calm demeanor. She has lived with a variety of different kinds of dogs and cats and has done great with all of them! She hasn't been around too many kiddos but has loved everyone she has met so we do not anticipate kids being a problem for her.
While Missy is crate trained, she free roams all day in our apartment when we are gone. She has not had any accidents and does not get into any mischief. Usually, she just rotates where she naps. We think that free roaming also helps with some of her joint stiffness since she is able to get up and walk around when need be.
As previously mentioned, Missy has some joint stiffness and soreness in her old age. She is given a supplement with her meals to help with those issues. You might also notice that she is a bit overweight - she will need consistent exercise and slimmer meals to help her get to an ideal weight. While her age and weight both cause and pose some health risks, Missy is hardly bothered by them. She still has a ton of spunk and is overall a very happy doggo.
Missy Hashbrown will need an adopter willing to be vigilant of her health issues. She is not a young spud anymore and will need someone who can be patient and gentle with her in her older age. However, she will make a perfect companion to whoever is willing to take her on! She is the happiest, sweetest, senior girl and cannot wait to start a new adventure with her forever fam!
