Updates
Maleah wakes up with us around 7am, and we go on a walk to potty. Then she spends the day playing with her toys, our resident dog, and cuddling! Another walk in the evening, and a couple times outside sprinkled through the day.
Maleah is a little shy at first with men. It takes her a couple days to warm up to them, but when she opens up she is a little lovebug! She tends to warm up to women pretty quickly. Maleah is curious about people and other dogs outside, but doesn't pull or bark at them. Maleah has not been around kids in our home.
Maleah is a medium/high energy dog. She loves to run around outside and go on long walks! She would do very well in an active family who could play with her throughout the day.
Maleah is shy around other dogs at first, but is slowly warming up to the resident dog. She just avoids other dogs until she is used to them. She has not shown any signs of aggression towards other animals. Maleah has not had any exposure to cats in our care.
Maleah is crate trained, and does great in there when left alone. She does not bark when she is in it. She has not been left alone unsupervised outside of the crate, so we’re unsure how she would do.
Maleah is highly trainable and will do great with a little training on leash manners and potty training. She would do very well in a house with a fenced in yard along with the training. Maleah is a very good girl! She LOVES snuggling on the couch, playing with her toys, and loves people in general.
