Lucy Eleanor Moderatz
Mixed Breed | DOB: 4/21/2025 | Female | 7 lbs on 6/20/2025
Lucy is a young, sweet, cuddly, curious little puppy! She's also a good learner!
- She sleeps well in her crate!
- When she wakes up we go outside and she does her potty right away.
- She has been on short explorations and seems drawn to, and curious about nature.
- She loves to jump, run and joyfully play with small toys and stuffies! She loves to chew on tiny kong toys and and braids to work on her puppy teeth.
- She's met our cat, who is close to 2X Lucy's size. Even though the interactions are new, Lucy is curious and cautious.
- She's been around dogs at the Meet and Greet and done well. She's tiny and cautious.
- She loves to snuggle and nap.
She's only been with us a short time and though tiny made a big loving impression! She's young with a spunky, snuggly personality. Lucy will bond quickly with her forever family. We are lucky to have this time with her!
Update: She has had a full holiday week hosting litter mate Neo, attending yoga, and learning to walk on a leash! She also had an outing to Pet Smart and did well in the car and meeting new people and pups. She is an amazing cuddler and a super sweet (and smart) pup.
Adopting a newborn puppy from Fetch
At Fetch, we’re proud of the loving, healthy puppies born and raised in our care. We have raised more than 200 newborn puppies and counting, in addition to countless litters transferred to us when they were just days old. Each puppy receives round-the-clock attention, expert care, and a whole lot of love from the very start. Our team of volunteers work tirelessly to make sure they get everything they need, from socialization and basic training to regular veterinary visits. By the time our puppies are ready to go to their forever homes, they are well-prepared to join families and bring joy to their adopters’ lives.
Adopting a puppy from Fetch means you don’t have to go to a breeder to find a healthy, happy companion. Our puppies are raised to be adaptable, comfortable around people and other animals, and ready to embrace new experiences. We take time to observe each puppy’s unique personality, so when it’s time for them to join a new family, we make sure it’s the right fit. This individualized approach helps our puppies thrive in their new homes and brings joy to everyone involved. We have a select few foster homes that specialize in raising litters, and have each raised dozens of litters for our rescue. Having an experienced eye care for these puppies as they grow up is critical to their long-term success.
When you choose to adopt a puppy through Fetch, you’re not only welcoming a wonderful puppy into your family, but you’re also helping to save more lives. Each adoption frees up space and resources for other dogs who need our care, allowing us to help more animals find loving homes. Adopting a puppy from Fetch Wisconsin Rescue gives you a lifelong companion and supports our mission to save lives—one pup at a time.
