✅Very sweet (timid at first, but it doesn’t last long) and very laid back

✅ Found dumped and scared on a rural county road in East Texas with her brother. Someone called the Sheriff's deputies and the siblings were taken into custody and sent directly to jail! There they were loved and cared for by deputies and jail trustees. Really likes other dogs and is sometimes too friendly.
✅ Lily has been in foster care in Texas for fourteen months, waiting for her chance at a forever home in Wisconsin.

This southern girl just arrived from TX and is taking to WI like a champ. Lily immediately found a fast friend when she walked into our house…her reflection in a full-length mirror! She must have starred at herself for five minutes. Who can resist those eyes, even when they’re your own 😊.
Lily can be shy at first, but who can blame her? Since she was two months old, she has been in jail or with a foster. The good news is she has been in a safe environment for the entire time. Shout out to the deputies, jail trustees and fosters in TX. Because of their dedication, Lily has been socialized, cared for, loved and trained. She is crate and house trained, good with strangers and simply a joy to be around. She already knows basic commands. She is the sweetest, chilliest dog with a perfect attitude.
If Lily had a job, it would be to look out the window. She likes to know what’s happening in the world, or at least on the street. When not gazing outside, Lily spends her time playing, hanging and napping with our two resident dogs. She enjoys lounging in a shady spot underneath a lilac bush while watching the humans weed the yard or greet neighbor dogs at the fence. She is a solid believer in the buddy system as she likes to follow both humans and canines wherever they go. We have also dubbed her the tan shadow.
