Check out videos of Lenny here, here and here!

Lenny will make a great family dog. He'll grow to be quite large. He is absolutely a wonderful puppy! He's a gem!

A typical day with Lenny is getting him out of his crate at about 6am. He takes his time waking up and will lounge around for a bit. He's not quick to go outside and potty, and when he's outside he explores the fenced in yard for quite a bit before going potty. This is his routine. He'll eat when he comes in but at his own pace. He's a typical puppy and will get into mischief like pulling on light runner rugs, blankets, pillows. He'll grab them and trot around with them like he's got a prize. So we have eliminated these things in our living area for now. Lenny will play with his toys; loves his chew bone. He gets a frozen peanut butter Kong in his crate when we go away for a couple of hours. I don't know how he'll do if left for a full day, but being a puppy I'm sure he'll adjust to his new environment. We do crate him for a couple of hours a day or more so he gets accustomed to it.

Lenny has learned that there is human food in the kitchen! He will put his paws on the counter if not watched. But he doesn't beg for food when we sit down for a meal.
Lenny has been to one meet and greet event and he did very well in meeting other dogs, people, and children. He has met the neighbors and their dogs.
Lenny needs to learn to walk on a leash. He is very timid when transitioning to other places. For example he does not like to get in the car so needs to be lifted in. He rides fine, and has just learned how to jump down to get out of the car.

He is just a typical pup who is learning life. We love fostering him!

Update: Lenny! He has really blossomed into himself. He loves being outside to explore. He does bark, especially when he sees neighbors or hears something or if the neighbors dogs are outside. He barks when inside as well when he hears something.  When we're outside with him he loves to go for our legs and play. We invite our neighbors 2 year old chocolate lab over to run with Lenny in our fenced in back yard.  Typical puppy behavior especially of the Great Pyrenees.

He is less resistant in going in his crate and will oftentimes go in and lay down. We try to give him crate time a few hours every day. We'll leave to run errands so he gets used to being alone in the crate.

He's a great pup! Definitely needs the outdoors to run and explore.

Lenny will be adopted out with an addendum to his contract to be neutered at an appropriate age.
