Lassie is an incredibly low-key, sweet lady. Don't let her slightly Eeyore expression fool you; she loves other dogs, all people, and anyone and anything who will let her kiss them on the face. An outdoor dog for a long time, Lassie is learning about the joys of living in a house including chew bones, soft toys, playing tug of war with her young foster siblings, and resting her pretty substantial blockhead on you as you watch television.
She is beloved by a community of previous fosters who think she is beyond special. Everyone raves about her friendly, gentle energy, and her love for naps and being cozy. She is great in the car, responsive on a leash and loves shorter, low-key exercise alongside bursts of wrestling with her foster siblings. She has good name recognition, listens well, and just learned "sit!" Lassie is also learning to get into a potty routine and will need an adopter who can be consistent, encouraging and committed to her training in general.
