Meet Huckleberry. She is a sweet, adventurous girl who is ready to find her forever family. She is an energetic pup who loves to play and explore but also makes time for long, cozy naps. She has bursts of energy. Huckleberry is a typical puppy who will need help on potty training and boundaries. She does well with potty training with frequent breaks, but will still need reinforcement and time to get it down fully. She does really well with kids. She currently lives with kids and has also met many more. She is good with other dogs. She is very respectful of other dog's boundaries and interacts appropriately. She doesn't have any food or toy aggression. She has interacted with a cat and was curious to meet her, but the cat did not like her. Huckleberry likes car rides (especially if she can sit on someone's lap and snuggle). She is afraid of cars driving by her, but we are working on this. She just needs reassurance that she will be okay and some treats to know the noise is okay. Huckleberry is a shoe thief. If a shoe is on the ground, she will find it and chew it! We distract her with toys and bones. Huckleberry would love a family who would allow her to cuddle in bed with them. She is not a fan of the crate at night, and will bark loudly to make sure you know it! If given the opportunity, she would sleep quietly in a cozy bed for up to 7 hours. During the day, Huckleberry is left up to 4 hours in her crate at a time. She barks initially, then settles down eventually. This is a work-in-progress. We give her frozen treats to keep her distracted. Huckleberry adores being around people. She will follow her humans around and doesn't want to miss out on anything. Huckleberry is a social, friendly, loyal and loving puppy. She has great potential to be an amazing dog. I'm excited for her to begin this next adventure.

Huckleberry will be adopted out with an addendum to her contract to be spayed at an appropriate age.
