Say hi to Heather, a southern gal, who immediately took to Wisconsin. One day after she arrived, we had our first snow, she LOVED it! Lots of romping around and licking the white stuff. Such a happy girl.
Are you looking for a blue-eyed dog? Perhaps you’re more of a brown-eyed fan? Well, do I have a dog for you! Heather has one blue and one brown eye. This only adds to her unique look. Her coloring is stunning and her fur is soft.
Heather is one of the sweetest fosters we’ve had. She acclimated almost immediately to our home and lifestyle. Heather is a quick learner too! She mastered crate and potty training within a few days. The next two days she was playing fetch and walking up/down open stairs, which most fosters avoid. She’s brave, friendly and a complete love bug.
Some of Heather’s favorite activities: playing with our two resident dogs, following humans around, we call her Tiger Shadow, taking all the toys out of the basket, watching the robot vacuum and the ever-popular group nap.
Heather’s schedule:
6 am: wake up, potty break, eat
6 – noon: play, nap, outside, repeat or time in her crate
Noon – 6 pm: same as above, plus eat
10 pm: crate time for the night
While we’ve only had the pleasure of being her foster for a week, I think Heather could roam freely after some time. She rides well in the car. Heather barely barks, even when our residents dogs are greeting people who walk past our house.
