Meet Hazel & Calix – A Bonded Pair Looking for a Loving Retirement Home
Hazel and Calix are 10-year-old siblings who have spent the last eight years as loyal companions to our father after the loss of our mom. Adopted together at age 2, they’ve been a true source of comfort, love, and laughter. Now, with our dad no longer able to care for them, we’re urgently looking for a loving home where they can live out their golden years together.
These two are as close as can be—where one goes, the other follows. They are pups who love lounging on the couch, sitting on your lap, and offering affectionate kisses. While they’ll bark to alert you if someone’s at the door, they’re not hyper or yappy—just good watch dogs with calm temperaments.
They grew up with freedom to explore on a farm, but nowadays they prefer relaxing inside or lying outside on a mild day. They’d thrive in a quiet home with no other dogs, no small kids (Hazel isn’t a fan of being picked up), and maybe the occasional cat to tease. Most of all, they just want to be together and loved.
We’re hoping to find them a forever home before July 3rd. Please help us give Hazel and Calix the peaceful, loving home they deserve. They still have so much love to give.
