Harley is a big happy boy that loves people and walks! We try to get him at least a couple of walks a day. At home, he likes to be around people and has already designated a few places he likes to lounge. Harley is very curious and will follow you around but will also hangout on his own. He does well in cars.
He does great with people. Harley really likes meeting new people whether we've had people come to the house or meet them elsewhere. Once in a while, he's gotten overly excited meeting someone and jumps up to lick their face, but that hasn't happened often.
Harley particularly seems to love kids. We have several younger neighborhood kids who he wants to be around.
He is a is a medium to high energy dog. We typically try to take him on a couple of walks a day. On a leash, he's pretty good. Harley will pull a bit at first, but after a little while he settles down and walks fine. He's also gone on jogs with us and has been fine.
Overall, Harley has been great with other dogs. He and our dog (who is much smaller and lazier) get along well, and typically don't pay attention to one another. On walks, Harley is interested in meeting other dogs but is also pretty well-mannered when doing so. Harley does not live with cats in his foster home.
Harley hasn't been left alone for long periods. We have left him uncrated for a couple of hours and he's been fine.
The vet noted some tartar accumulation. Harley would benefit from a dental in the next 1-2 years.
Harley is an overall wonderful and friendly guy. He's house and crate trained. Harley knows and responds to several commands. While he has his lazy moments, Harley would do best with someone looking for a buddy to be active with or has a large fenced in area for him to run.
