Gracie Hart
Mixed Breed | DOB: 4/21/2025 | Female | 5.9 lbs on 5/31/2025
Gracie
This little girl is playful, smart, loving, and eager to please! She’s gotten along great with everyone that She’s met - from babies to senior citizens! Gracie learns quickly and is doing a great job with potty training skills. She has not yet had an accident in our house! This is great. With frequent opportunities to potty outside, she has been consistently able to potty outside!
Gracie is doing a great job of having quiet time in her crate throughout the day and is sleeping through the night! We’ve been often putting her to bed around 10 PM and she’ll start to make noise around 6 AM. She has done a great job of reading our older dogs cues, and has shown she can take redirection from other dogs appropriately.
Gracie is being fostered next-door to her brother Ted. This allows them to still get plenty of puppy playtime while building up their independence in homes of their own.
This girl will make a great summer companion and would do great in a home with kids or other dogs.
Update: Gracie continues to have new experiences. A visit to a coffee shop, thrift shopping and a pet store were all stops she recently made. She continues to show what a well socialized pup She is by appearing confident and friendly across environments. She’s getting lots of good experience with friendly people wherever she goes, which is great too. She Is a smart one and is working on potty training, learning the commands “come” and “sit” and “kennel up.” She is praise and food, motivated, so training will hopefully be easy.
Update 2: Gracie continues to be a stellar pup! While we have had a few potty accidents in the house, she has started going to the door to whine to alert us when she needs to go out!
She is starting to go into her crate on her own to rest and cries a little bit when we put her in the crate at night, but typically quiets down after a few minutes and sleeps until morning.
She continues to meet lots of new people and experiences and does great with all.
Adopting a newborn puppy from Fetch
At Fetch, we’re proud of the loving, healthy puppies born and raised in our care. We have raised more than 200 newborn puppies and counting, in addition to countless litters transferred to us when they were just days old. Each puppy receives round-the-clock attention, expert care, and a whole lot of love from the very start. Our team of volunteers work tirelessly to make sure they get everything they need, from socialization and basic training to regular veterinary visits. By the time our puppies are ready to go to their forever homes, they are well-prepared to join families and bring joy to their adopters’ lives.
Adopting a puppy from Fetch means you don’t have to go to a breeder to find a healthy, happy companion. Our puppies are raised to be adaptable, comfortable around people and other animals, and ready to embrace new experiences. We take time to observe each puppy’s unique personality, so when it’s time for them to join a new family, we make sure it’s the right fit. This individualized approach helps our puppies thrive in their new homes and brings joy to everyone involved. We have a select few foster homes that specialize in raising litters, and have each raised dozens of litters for our rescue. Having an experienced eye care for these puppies as they grow up is critical to their long-term success.
When you choose to adopt a puppy through Fetch, you’re not only welcoming a wonderful puppy into your family, but you’re also helping to save more lives. Each adoption frees up space and resources for other dogs who need our care, allowing us to help more animals find loving homes.
