Elsa

Elsa has been in Wisconsin for just over a week, with most of that time spent making friends - cats, dogs, kids, and adults alike. She's from the south but has adapted quickly to her new life as a foster in this cold weather. She even kind of looks like a baby polar bear. She is up for taking potty breaks outside even when it's zero degrees, although not without an accident here and there (which is expected since she's only 11 weeks old!). Sometimes her feet get cold before she has time to find the right potty spot, and if we keep a potty pad near her indoors her accidents are few and far between. She's crated when we can't keep an eye on her and when she sleeps at night. She prefers her carrier to a wire crate or puppy pen. She also rides in her carrier in the car. She might grumble for a minute about being put in there if she wants to play instead, but quickly falls asleep. She only barks when she's scared, which is becoming more and more rare.

Elsa has a good routine. She wakes up between 6-7, goes outside for a potty break, and eats breakfast out of her treat ball while I get ready for work. Elsa comes to the office with me during the day and plays, eats, and sleeps. She gets breaks every hour or so. In the afternoons she might have a play date with her buddy (Fetch alum Angie), or some time on her own with her favorite toys (collagen chews, balls, and rope toys). She'll get dinner from her treat ball again, and a little extra playtime or a bath. It's not that she needs a bath, but she likes them and will try to follow you into the shower. 😆 She gets one last potty break before going to bed around 11. She might wake up once in the middle of the night for another potty break, but she has slept straight through a couple of nights.

Elsa would be a great addition to a house with other animals or owners who have some time and energy to dedicate to her. She's still very young and needs consistency and patience, like any puppy, but she's learning quickly! And she's more than cute enough to make up for any frustration she may cause along the way.

Tessa’s puppies

Born on November 24th in Texas, these adorable puppies are as sweet and cuddly as they come! After a unique start in life, born in the care of the WCSO inmates they’ve been thriving in foster care and are now getting ready to find their forever families.

With their soft, fluffy coats and wagging tails, these little ones are the perfect blend of playfulness and snuggles. While we can’t say for sure what breeds they are, we’re certain they’ll grow up to be beautiful companions who love adventure as much as they love napping by your side.

The puppies will arrive in Wisconsin in mid-January and will be available as foster-to-adopt dogs. This means you’ll have the opportunity to foster one of these cuties while finalizing their adoption! During this time, Fetch will continue to provide support and vet care, ensuring they’re healthy and ready to officially join your family.

These pups are eager to start learning about the world—whether it’s chasing toys, exploring the yard, or practicing commands to impress their humans. They’ve been socialized in foster care and are ready to bond with loving, patient adopters who will guide them as they grow.

If you’re ready to welcome an adorable ball of fluff into your home, apply to be a foster-to-adopt family today!

Note: All puppies will arrive with age-appropriate vaccinations, microchips, and deworming. Prospective adopters must be prepared to continue their training and socialization to help them grow into well-rounded adult dogs.

Our Foster-to-Adopt program lets you ensure your new pup is the perfect fit before finalizing adoption. Fetch pairs you with a Foster Partner to guide you through vetting, support the transition, and finalize the adoption—or help find their forever home if needed. This option is available for select dogs and noted on their profiles.

Adopting a newborn puppy from Fetch

At Fetch, we’re proud of the loving, healthy puppies born and raised in our care. We have raised more than 200 newborn puppies and counting, in addition to countless litters transferred to us when they were just days old. Each puppy receives round-the-clock attention, expert care, and a whole lot of love from the very start. Our team of volunteers work tirelessly to make sure they get everything they need, from socialization and basic training to regular veterinary visits. By the time our puppies are ready to go to their forever homes, they are well-prepared to join families and bring joy to their adopters’ lives.

Adopting a puppy from Fetch means you don’t have to go to a breeder to find a healthy, happy companion. Our puppies are raised to be adaptable, comfortable around people and other animals, and ready to embrace new experiences. We take time to observe each puppy’s unique personality, so when it’s time for them to join a new family, we make sure it’s the right fit. This individualized approach helps our puppies thrive in their new homes and brings joy to everyone involved. We have a select few foster homes that specialize in raising litters, and have each raised dozens of litters for our rescue. Having an experienced eye care for these puppies as they grow up is critical to their long-term success.

When you choose to adopt a puppy through Fetch, you’re not only welcoming a wonderful puppy into your family, but you’re also helping to save more lives. Each adoption frees up space and resources for other dogs who need our care, allowing us to help more animals find loving homes. Adopting a puppy from Fetch Wisconsin Rescue gives you a lifelong companion and supports our mission to save lives—one pup at a time.
