Do you want a sweet puppy that is still puppy enough to bond with you, smell like puppy, give you puppy eyes and that has ears and paws too big for her body, but not too puppy that they are peeing all over the house and waking up in the middle of the night?

Meet Elsa. This sweet girl has the most beautiful white/ brindled legs and adorable face. She has ears that make us all melt. Elsa has been with us for two weeks now and is potty trained, crate trained, walks on a leash, plays well with other dogs, and has learned sit and shake and is also learning other manners around the house. She is smart as a whip and picks up on commands quickly.

She loves rides in the car and will put one or both front paws on you as you drive, or even lean her head on your shoulder. It's maybe my favorite thing to do with her. She loves playing fetch and even can entertain herself with a soccer ball or yak chew for quite some time.

Her day currently goes something like this:

6:30-7 am wake up, let outside to pee

7 am breakfast in crate

7:15-9:30 play with other resident dogs inside or outside, go for a walk on leash

9:30-10 nap in crate

11-3 play / lay/ hang out outside

3-4 Nap in crate

5PM dinner in crate

5:15-8 play/walk/go to park on a leash

8 ish: bedtime in crate

On days that I go to the office, she is fine in her crate from 7:30-3 (I haven’t tested much longer than that).

I can tell she is going to be the best companion as she loves fiercely and is a sweet cuddle bug. She came with zero training, didn’t know her name and was uneasy around kennels and a leash. She has caught on quickly and is learning to trust humans. To meet her is to love her.

Pupdate:

Elsa is coming along with her training. She knows touch, watch and follow me. We started working on leave it, off and down. She is doing great. She's mastered the art of the walk but may need some reminding. She's very treat motivated and is easily redirected.

She has a lot of energy and playing chase is her favorite game. Daily exercise is a must for Elsa. She is still growing, but would likely make a wonderful running buddy once she is a little older. She loves splashing in water - could swimming or paddleboarding be in her future? She is adventurous and puts her heart into everything she does. And what about those ears? We can't talk about Elsa without mentioning those adorable ears.

She is wicked smart and loves to learn. She currently goes to daycare once a week and loves to interact with the staff and the other dogs. She sleeps in her crate at night and is also crated during the day while I am at work.

Because of her exuberance, older children are probably a better fit for her right now. She's a talker (it's a Husky trait) so be ready to enjoy some interesting conversation. Shared walls probably aren't a good fit for her right now.

All in all Elsa is an amazing dog and continuing with training will help her become her best self. She is a silly, playful, entertaining, loving, sweet girl who just wants a family of her own. Could you be her forever? Come meet her and see. Be ready to fall in love...
