Hi, new friends! It’s Domino here, and I can’t wait to meet you! I’m a very happy, friendly boy, who’s always ready for an adventure! But after our fun, I’m happy to snuggle up and relax, too.
I currently live in a home with other dogs; I love to play with them! But when they tell me they’re done playing with me, I’m a good listener and I find a toy to entertain myself with instead. Or nudge my foster hoomans for pets or check their pockets for treats. I’m very adaptable. While I don’t live with cats currently, I have met a few outside or at the vet; they’re interesting to me, and I want to say hello, but I haven’t shown any negative intentions in these brief interactions. If you have cats, you should probably teach me how to live with them politely just to be sure!
I’ve went for a few car rides since I’ve been here; they make me ride in a crate. I haven’t figured out how to jump up into it yet, but I let them pick me up and put me in the crate with only a sigh of complaint. But then I lay down and nap the whole ride. Or look out the window quietly. Car rides are fun!
Speaking of quiet… If you live in an apartment or have shared walls - you’ll need to make sure I’ve gotten my morning walk before you leave for work. I don’t mind being home alone, but I’m an energetic boy! If I get bored, I will tell you about it. Or your neighbors. And the hoomans here tell me your neighbors may not appreciate it. If I’ve had my walk though, and you leave me some toys, I’m good for the work day! They crate me when I’m home alone. I think I’d do just fine hanging out around the house, but, they tell me that’s a privilege I need to earn first and I haven’t been here long enough yet to prove I don’t have a hidden affinity for home renovation. But if you can bring me to work with you, or have a connection to this thing called Doggy Daycare that I’ve heard about, I’d love that!
My foster mom says she’d keep me in a second, if I wouldn’t be their fourth dog. Come meet me soon; before she gets too attached to me! ;)
