Diesel is a cute and friendly high-energy pup! His favorite activities are chewing on his chew toys and playing with our resident dog. He isn't possessive of treats or toys and shares well with our dog. He would do best in a home with another dog due to his energy levels, but would likely do well solo with active humans.
Diesel walks well on a leash and is eager to sniff all that the neighborhood has to offer. He hasn't had any accidents and sleeps quietly through the night in his crate. He can take some time to get settled into his crate, so he would do best in a non-apartment setting where his whining won't bother the neighbors. He has some related separation anxiety, which has been improving as he gets more comfortable and into a daily routine. He hasn't had much exposure to cats or children yet, but spent a night with both and did well.
Diesel is getting settled into our routine. He wakes up to go outside and get some exercise, then has breakfast before he goes into his crate to nap during the workday. Once we're done with work in the evening, he goes outside again for more exercise before he gets dinner and spends the evening with us and our resident dog.
He's food-motivated and has been working on learning Sit and Come commands. He's eager to please and loves to spend time with both dogs and humans, especially if you're willing to give him scratches and ear rubs!
