Raised a litter of puppies and is now ready for a home of her own!

Delta was found as a stray wandering around farm country in central Wisconsin. A kindhearted family took her in and she soon gave birth to and raised a litter of puppies. She has now been spayed and is ready for a home of her own!

Delta is one of the sweetest, easiest dogs I have ever fostered. She gets along great with my dogs and loves to play with them. She is a young dog, so she needs daily exercise to keep her happy. She also gets along great with cats. She absolutely loves people and she will follow you everywhere. She loves to lay next to you and put her head in your lap for pets. You might think she’s asleep, but if you stop petting her she will gently nudge you with her nose or paw to remind you to keep petting her. She previously lived with children and was great with them.

Delta was primarily an outdoor/barn dog for most of her life but so far she has done great in the house. She is crate trained and has not had any potty accidents. She is very reliable off-leash and always comes when called. She walks nicely on a leash and does not pull.

Delta was adopted soon after she came to Fetch and was returned by her adopters due to barking in her crate. Like many dogs, she decided to test the rules as she got more comfortable in her new home. When she got back to my house, she only needed to wear a bark collar one time to remember that she is not supposed to bark to get what she wants. Since then, she has been perfectly quiet even without a bark collar. I would expect her to test the rules again in her new home, and she will need an adopter who is willing to reinforce basic training.

After months of being bounced around, Delta is ready to find her forever owner who will commit to her and adore her for the sweetheart that she is!
