Searching for a pup who is very treat motivated, rambunctious, clumsy, adorable, and your personal insect and critter watcher? Hi, I'm Dash! Let me tell you more about myself.

I wake up around 7:30 AM in my crate and wait for my foster parents to get ready. When they finally let me out, I go outside to the backyard and take care of my business. I do prefer to eat first thing in the morning and will wait in the middle of the kitchen to see if I can get breakfast right away, but my foster parents make me go outside first since they don't want me to have an accident inside (even though I haven't done that for over a week now!). After eating, I will spend my day playing with other dogs, chewing on toys, or napping while my foster parent works from home. In the evening, I mostly follow my foster parents around while they're cooking dinner or playing with their resident doggo. Before bedtime, we go on our last walk and I end my day sleeping in my crate.

I'm more used to playing with dogs who are similar in size to me. With bigger dogs, I tend to be shy/scared at first but I 'm happy to play with them after I see other dogs playing with them as well. When wrestling with my friends, I like to use my vocal cords to try to intimidate them, since my size most certainly won't.

I don't like my crate very much when I'm alone but it's bearable if there's a toy with me. I do very well going into my crate and am working on my release word, "free", before getting let out. At night, I tend to whine for a bit before settling down and finally going to sleep.

As a puppy, I'm still learning not to chew on things I'm not supposed to. It's really hard because of my teething but it's going smoothly, or so my foster parents say, since I haven't chewed on anything I'm not supposed to for a while now! I'm also learning not to be too jumpy around humans and not to taste test their food. When it is my turn to eat, I sit and wait patiently for my release word, "free", to eat. Oh, by the way, I'm also learning sit, down, and crate for my basic commands. I'm doing very well with my potty training as I know to go outside to go potty. I do still have a few accidents on occasion but it's only because my bladder is small!

I have not been exposed to cats or children yet.

Since seeing my littermate move out to be with her furever family, I'm eagerly accepting applications to find my new snuggle buddy and can't wait to meet you!
