Meet Chuck! Chuck is a happy-go-lucky pup filled with joy who loves anyone and everyone he meets! He does great with kids and adults alike and will greet you with a big smile on his face. He likes to play with his toys, fetch balls and explore the neighborhood on walks. He does great in his crate and has been sleeping in it overnight without waking up.

Chuck gets up around 6am to go on a walk and then eat breakfast. He plays with chew toys for about an hour and then goes in his crate for a few hours while I work. At lunchtime he goes on another walk and gets to say hi to the other people and dogs in our neighborhood. He gets to hang out for a while until he's sleepy and then he stays in the crate for a few more hours in the afternoon. At around 5 he goes on a long walk and gets lots of playtime. He eats around 6pm and then after a short rest he gets another walk. He goes to bed between 9 and 10.

Chuck is doing well with potty training and has only had a few accidents. He gets a lot of potty breaks outside when he's not in his crate, and he has been good about sitting by the door when he needs to go or giving me cues. If he doesn't settle down in his crate there's a good chance he needs to pee so I let him out on a break, give him a few minutes and then he goes back in the crate fine. He likes listening to music while he's in there so I often leave something on for him.

Chuck really loves meeting new people and dogs outside and likes to be around others. If he sees someone he wants to meet them and its always fun because he's so happy. Kids are his favorite! He is a breeze in the car and likes to look out the window. Rides have been easy!

He likes to play with all kinds of chew toys but also loves playing with balls and has been fetching. He also likes to drop them and fetch them himself.

I have not seen Chuck interact with cats but his previous sitter said he does okay with them but needs reminders not to chase them. He also did great with the sitter's dogs and loved them. He is a puppy and has puppy energy so he can be too much for my smaller dog and doesn't know to hold back yet around him. I think he will do great around anyone his own size.

Chuck barks a little on walks but has been very quiet indoors and barely barked at all. He still jumps a lot and is learning his manners but I think he will train well. On walks I have been training him to look at me and follow. He responds to his name and has picked up this very quickly. He loves treats and kibble for training. He is walking in a collar but might do well in a harness.

You will love meeting Chuck, he is such a joyful dog and is sure to bring a smile to your face! When we walk around the neighborhood people call him a celebrity dog because he looks like Petey from the Little Rascals or the Target Dog because of the spot on his eye. He makes people so happy and will be a wonderful addition to your family.
