Cherry is a sweet little pup with a great personality! Cherry is very affectionate, loyal and loves to play. She loves being held and petted. After a good play session, she becomes very snuggly and will settle in for an entire Netflix TV show on your lap.
She is currently in the foster home of a family with two young kids with busy morning and evening schedules. She is doing great with everyone in the house and does fine being left in her crate for a few hours. Cherry’s favorite place to be is under the chair of one of the kids at dinner time.
Cherry has already started “Puppy Kindergarten” classes and loves playtime with her classmates. She is very smart and within one day learned how to sit. Cherry is also most of the way to learning lay down as well. She loves to play and will consistently fetch a ball and bring it back to you. She tolerates a collar and leash well and is using the bathroom outside but still needs some pee pads inside.

Born in the heart of Louisiana, this special litter of mixed-breed puppies has been on quite the journey! Their mama disappeared, leaving them to fend for themselves, but at about three weeks old, they were rescued and placed in loving foster care before journeying to Wisconsin. They’ve been growing, learning, and getting ready for their forever homes!
Named after strong and beautiful trees, these pups are as unique as the Louisiana bayou: Cherry is the soft-hearted sweetheart, full of kisses.
Since being in foster care, they’ve been well-socialized with people, dogs, cats, and all the sounds of a loving home and they can’t wait to find families of their own.
