Bridget and her siblings arrived in Wisconsin from Texas in early April. Ever since, they’ve been busy learning all things puppy: playing, napping, snuggling, napping, eating, and napping! They’ve been introduced to men, women, children, other dogs, and cats. Mom, Vivian, has been a wonderful teacher and is as sweet as can be; her puppies are as well! Bridget will be ready to go to her forever home when she is 8 weeks old and will be adopted with an addendum to her contract to be spayed at an appropriate age.
Pupdate 4/30:
Bridget left her litter 3 days ago and is settling in to her new foster home. She is a very playful pup and tries keeping up with her foster siblings when they play fetch, even though she’s got little legs, she tries to give them a run for their money! She is adapting to crate training, and whines a little less each night about going to bed, nothing a few treats doesn’t sooth! She’s smart and catching on to “go potty” quickly outside for #1; she is still adapting to the kennel times and needing to go #2. She plays with balls and loves chewing rope toys and attempting to fetch anything you toss for her. She’s currently living with 5 dogs older than her and doing great, she loves playing with the younger ones and takes the hint from the older ones when they don’t want to play. She will certainly grow up to be an amazing girl, and is looking forward to meeting her furever family!
