The name Bert is of German and British origin, and means "bright," "noble," and "famous.” You won’t find a brighter boy than our man Bert. He is a 5 month old bundle of puppy energy and will fill your life with love, laughter, kisses, and probably a chewed tennis ball or two. Bert lives with 3 children ages 14, 12, and 6 as well as several caged pets. He is super friendly with kids, adults and other dogs. Bert is doing amazing with house training and kennel training. He may fuss for a few minutes when you put him in the kennel, but does well with a frozen peanut butter kong. He is doing well learning to walk nicely on a leash and not jump on people. He is extremely friendly and happy to meet everyone. Bert is a lovely, funny, sweet puppy who will be the perfect for anyone looking to invest the time to grow a beautiful friendship with this lovely boy.
Bert has a healed fracture in his right leg. He has been cleared for all normal activities by the wonderful people at Madison Veterinary Services. However, he does have a slight limp in his right front leg and should have yearly veterinary monitoring to make sure everything stays the same. This limp does not slow Bert down at all and we think the hitch in his giddyup just adds character to his already robust resume.
