Meet Barry – A Sweet, Loving, and Smart Companion Looking for His Forever Home Barry is a gentle and affectionate working dog with a heart of gold. He’s known for his loving nature, snuggly personality, and incredible intelligence. Barry is highly trained, knowing all the essential commands like sit, stay, down, heel, and place, making him a well-behaved and obedient companion. Whether he’s lounging on the couch or out on a walk, Barry is always eager to please. As a working dog, Barry thrives on structure and routine. He enjoys having a job to do and responds well to clear expectations and consistency. Barry is incredibly smart and quick to learn, making him an ideal match for an experienced dog owner who can continue to engage his mind and keep him active. While Barry is the sweetest boy with a lot of love to give, he does get stressed by unpredictable behaviors or environments. Unfortunately, our recent addition of a baby to our family has caused Barry some anxiety, and we feel that he would thrive in a calmer, more stable home where he can feel comfortable and safe. Barry is looking for a new family where he can be the center of attention, receive the structure he loves, and enjoy a peaceful environment. He’s great with adults and would do best in a home where he can have a predictable routine and lots of love.
