Axel is a sweet, submissive boy who was surrendered to a shelter and then rescued by Fetch. We don’t have much information on his backstory, but he is pretty much a perfect pup! He gets along great with people, kids, other dogs, and cats. He was a little timid at first with my dogs but after a few hours he warmed up and now he loves to play with them. He is a submissive player and would be overwhelmed by a larger, rougher dog, but he would love another small playmate.
Axel is nonshedding and will require regular haircuts. He is medium energy and enjoys going for walks and playing in the yard, but also loves to cuddle. He seems to be completely potty trained, although I would keep an eye on him for the first few days in a new home just in case. He goes right into his crate when it’s time for bed and sleeps there quietly all night. He has only been on a couple car rides, and he rides very nicely in the back, but he did get carsick during one of our rides. So he may not be the best roadtrip buddy, although that may have just been a one-off. He is just the best boy!
