Meet Athena — the certified prettiest husky girl in the world (No really, her foster said it, so it’s official)!
Athena is a gorgeous husky mix with one striking blue eye, the softest fur imaginable, and absolutely zero traction when she runs. It’s is as entertaining as it sounds. Since arriving from Texas, she’s been thriving (and happily putting on some much-needed weight — she’s very compliant about it, thank you).
She’s really into other dogs and fits right in with any pack. She’s great at reading the room (and other dogs), adjusts her play style easily, and can take correction like a champ. She’s also surprisingly respectful of cats.
Athena’s true passion, though, is toys. She loves collecting them, arranging them in her bed like a tiny dragon guarding treasure, and proudly showing them off to anyone who walks by. Sharing? Hard pass. She’ll let her dog friends know if they even think about it.
She’s still a little unsure around big crowds, so a patient family willing to help her build confidence would be ideal.
Athena has heard the legends of snow but hasn’t seen it yet, and she cannot wait to live her snow princess dreams. Until then, she’s fully embracing fall: zooming through leaves, wrestling with her dog pals, and soaking up all the cool weather vibes.
