Apple Jacks is the pittie of your dreams. She comes from a shelter in Texas and is about two years old. She is made of pure love and the most loyal companion you could ever find. Jacks is beyond smart and would be very easy to train. She knows sit and wait, but she has so much potential for more. Apple Jacks is crate trained, potty trained, good on a leash, good with dogs, loves people, does amazing at the vet, loves car rides, very food motivated and is great at redirecting and listening.
She would be the sidekick of your dreams. She would do great on hikes, camping, travel, or really anything. She is adventurous and has little to no fear of being exposed to new things. Jacks is the right mixture of energy and snuggles. She is always happy to cuddle on the couch or in bed with you. But you don’t have to ask her twice to go outside for some adventures or playing. She loves to be outside, and she LOVES the water! Pit Bulls aren’t usually known to like water, but she is always happy for a swim or to lounge in a kiddy pool. When she gets the zoomies around the yard, she is untouchable. I would say that she is medium-high energy. She is very good at knowing and calming herself in situations that she needs too. Jacks will be your little shadow if you let her. She likes to know where her people are always. She will always find a warm spot right next to you. Jacks also loves having all the toys!!! She is happy to entertain herself by throwing a toy around.
Due to her size and lack of awareness of her strength, I would recommend her being in a home with older children. We have had nothing but good experiences with her and our 10-year-old son. She has zero aggression but can’t control her love and excitement. You know you have hit your best friend status when you get the full on pittie body wiggles. Sometimes she comes in like a little bit of a wrecking ball. We are unsure how she would do with cats, but I think with time and patience she can be taught anything.
