Hi there! Allow me to introduce myself. My foster parents call me Sweet Angela, though just Angela is fine too! I’m a people pleaser through and through, and love nothing more than to snuggle and give kisses. When I am not invading my foster parents’ personal space, I like to play with other dogs, explore and sniff around outside, play fetch, or just lounge around.
Every morning I wake up in my crate and patiently wait for my foster parents to let me out so I can take care of business. Then I come back inside and scarf down my breakfast. I spend the rest of the day napping and playing with my dog friends - my favorite games are fetch, wrestling, and chase! My foster parents recently had a couple of puppies, and they were a hoot! I loved playing with them, though they treated me more like a playground than a friend sometimes…
While my humans prepare dinner, I stay close by for moral support! (And any potential cleaning up that they may need.) Then when everyone is done eating, I go on my last walk for the night before falling asleep in my crate with a dental treat for dessert.
When people visit, I get so excited that I want to jump into their arms, but my foster parents are working with me on this and trying to teach me to contain my excitement. It's tough, but with consistency and discipline, it is getting better. I am also working on my leash manners, and my foster parents agree that those are improving quickly! I’m just so curious and want to sniff everything...
I have met a few cats now, but they kind of scare me so I just stay away. However, I am sure that with some training and lots of treats, I could learn to be friends with them. We also attended the super busy Fetch 5k event recently where I met some tiny humans (plus lots of new dog and big human friends!), and they were fun and gave lots of pets :)
Oh, and I LOVE car rides!
