Alfred is a sweet, goofy, and gentle soul who’s ready to bring love (and a few zoomies) into your life. He’s got a soft heart, a playful spirit, and a big love for chew toys—especially if he gets to toss them around the room himself!
This friendly boy loves meeting new people and greets everyone with a wagging tail (and sometimes a little jump if he's extra excited). He’s very social with other dogs and would love a home with a canine buddy to play with.
Alfred is great on a leash and enjoys 2 to 3 daily walks—though he might slow down a bit in the heat. At home, he’s calm and affectionate. He’ll happily hang out nearby while you cook, watch TV, or just go about your day. He’s very well-mannered: no barking at the vacuum or blow dryer (though he’s not their biggest fan), no counter surfing, and he stays off the furniture unless invited.
He’s also:
- Crate-free and trustworthy when left alone during the workday
- Good in the car
- Knows “sit” and "shake" (when he feels like it!)
- Gentle with treats
- Calm in the bath
- Not a big barker—just gets chatty when it’s walk time or toy time
He’s currently working on not jumping when excited, and he might whine a little when he’s looking for love. Alfred would thrive in a home with other playful dogs and humans who are around to snuggle and engage with him. While he's confident in most situations, he’s a little unsure of certain stairwells (like those echoey parking garage ones), but he's getting braver every day.
