Alfie, an almost 2-year old Chihuahua mix, is a medium sized, energetic dog with so much to give. His primary joy in life is making friends with other dogs of basically any age and size, from young puppies to older pit bulls! He loves wrestling and play, takes cues well, and makes dog friends incredibly easily. An active young dog, he loves trips to the dog park, playing fetch, puzzle toys, and opportunities to run. Alfie has completed several classes and knows many basic commands, like "lay down," "paw," "touch," "focus," "off," "find it," and "leave it". He also went to a three week board and train program in August and walks on a treadmill, knows “place,” and uses a prong collar. He regularly attends daycare where he loves interacting with other dogs!
He is crate trained and does well with cats. At the end of the day, Alfie loves to snuggle close in bed; as a Chihuahua mix, he is very loyal to "his" humans, especially women! Alfie would love an adult-only home with a yard space where he can run and roam, dog siblings (or Fetch fosters!) to play with, and a family who can continue his training as he grows.
